Twitter Is Obsessed With Hillary Clinton's Latest #OOTD, & So Are We

If you ask us how much we miss Hillary Clinton, and her intelligence, charisma, tenacity, talent, and, yes, that rainbow of pantsuits — well, we just wouldn't be able to find the words. Let's put it this way: If we were Noah and Hillary was Allie, we'd be on letter 140 by now. We were left similarly bereft of the ability to function properly when we caught a glimpse of Clinton when she stepped out at the Professional BusinessWomen of California conference in San Francisco yesterday wearing one badass leather jacket. HRC traded in her iconic pantsuit for a leather topper that we won't be able to get over for quite some time.Just look at the detailing on that thing. The lapel, how the shoulders fit our favorite boss woman so seamlessly, the contrast factor when layered on a floral-yet-funky blouse. It's safe to say that Pantsuit Nation is proud of this (pantsuit-free) look. And while we think Clinton's style has only gotten better since that fateful day on November 8th, no look has been as badass and as "I came to slay " than this leather moment. C'mon, who doesn't love a leather moment? No word yet on where the #OOTD is from, but in our dreams, we're envisioning Clinton getting grade-A customer service in Chanel, or Dries Van Noten while she tries on the gear. Or, hell, we know it's rather simple for the Italian label, but maybe even Gucci. Can you imagine? Twitter agreed.Hillary Clinton talked about @MaxineWaters and @AprilDRyan earlier today. #BlackWomenAtWork (h/t @yashar) pic.twitter.com/pUS3z4N92p— Beatrice-Elizabeth (@MissBeaE) March 28, 2017 //platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsCurrent mood: HIllary Clinton trading in her pants suit for a leather jacket and florals. Let's do this. #TheResistance pic.twitter.com/bNSAUmgkmt— O General My General (@rideatdawn) March 29, 2017 //platform.twitter.com/widgets.js.@HillaryClinton should make badass leather jackets her default wardrobe choice. pic.twitter.com/y63anlTrcP— Hillary Is Coming! (@HillaryIsComing) March 29, 2017 //platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsYou tell them @HillaryClinton. And telling them in a fierce black leather jacket is even better. https://t.co/VdbgwOdEio— Amy Hegel (@amyhegel) March 29, 2017 //platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsClinton's speech, which included defenses of Representative Maxine Waters and longtime White House journalist April Ryan, was just as epic: "Just look at all that's happened in the last few days to women who were simply doing their jobs. April Ryan, a respected journalist with unrivaled integrity was doing her job just this afternoon in the White House press room when she was patronized and cutoff trying to ask a question," Clinton said. "One of your own California Congresswomen, Maxine Waters, was taunted with a racist joke about her hair. Now, too many women, especially women of color, have had a lifetime of practice taking precisely these kinds of indignities in stride. But why should we have to? And any woman who thinks this couldn't be directed at her is living in a dream world," she told the crowd. The last time we saw a leather jacket worn this well was probably the Beckhams when they hit up the Versace fashion show in London in 1999. Or, every jacket from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, in which The Chosen One protected Sunnydale, California from freakin' vampires in outerwear that, if you think about it, quite literally slayed. Thanks to this look, and the fervor and intent 0f Clinton's speeches lately, we're going to go on the record and say Hillary's got a new groove, not unlike our former POTUS' transformation into Glow-bama in recent months. She's go a new air about her, and we can't wait to see more of it. If this isn't the coolest example of fashion as armor (because sometimes, fighting the good fight requires more than a Chanel tweed blazer), then we don't know what is. Hillary Clinton? Leather? Name a more iconic duo. We'll wait.Like what you see? We Kind Of Want Some Of The Stuff Khloé & Kris Are Selling On TheRealReal

In case you missed the e-mail blast from online consignment store TheRealReal, Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner are doing some spring cleaning — and are putting some once-loved items for their closets up for sale on the site. They (and other members of the Kardashian-Jenner family) have done so before, so it's become somewhat of an annual tradition to engage is some voyeuristic online shopping.Alas, before we get anyone's hopes up, there are no Yeezy or Adidas Calabasas on offer, because they know better than to resell precious personal gifts from a family member, especially on such a public platform. But there's plenty of other Kardashian-vetted designers represented, such as Balmain and Givenchy. According to a representative for TheRealReal, some of the fastest-selling pieces come courtesy of these big fashion brands: Quick sell outs included a Balmain dress, an Alexander McQueen bomber jacket, an Alaïa mini dress, and a Lanvin jacket. As we know by now, though, dressing like a Kardashian doesn't come cheap: The most "affordable" items featured in the sale are still in the three-figure range — and those that aren't have already been claimed by swift shoppers. Still, a quick perusal of TheRealReal's edit does make for some wishful browsing. And it hasn't dissuaded some from scooping up some pieces for themselves: Most of the items already bear the always-disappointing "Sold" or "On Hold" banners over their preview images. (TheRealReal's rep noted that the sales they've done with the Kardashian-Jenners in the past have consistently sold out within the first few hours.) So if you actually see something you want — like, say, a $10,500 beaded Zuhair Murad gown on sale for $3,250 that was once worn by a Calabasas resident — you'll have to move fast.Come with us as we imagine an alternative reality where we could afford a Kardashian-level wardrobe, as we roundup of the item we sort of would want to snag from the sale, if we had the disposable income to do so."You don't understand — this is an Alaïa."Alaïa Jacquard Fit And Flare Dress, $1,245, available at TheRealReal.Kim's favorite laced-front Givenchy bodysuit made the spring cleaning cut.Givenchy Spring '15 Lace-Up Bodysuit, $775, available at TheRealReal. So we can pretend we're Kris Jenner, sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week and cheering on Kendall Jenner as she walks for Chanel.Chanel Tweed High-Low Jacket, $1,595, available at TheRealReal. It wouldn't be a Kardashian sale without some Balmain bodycon.Balmain Crystal-Embellished Houndstooth Dress, $950, available at TheRealReal. There's no lack of statement outerwear in the Kardashian-Jenner brood's closets.March 11 Wool Aster Coat, $1,525, available at TheRealReal. This crop top, plus Good American high-waisted denim, equals the ultimate Kardashian outfit.Dion Lee Sleeveless Crop Top, $225, available at TheRealReal.A LBD that's part Posh Spice, part Calabasas? Victoria Beckham's Cheeky T-Shirt Is Just Too Good

If you didn't already know, Victoria Beckham is one of the best in the game at getting the last laugh. From her days as a Spice Girl, where the decision between a little Gucci dress and a little Gucci dress would go on to be an epic pop music punchline, to now, as a designer, where she uses fashion to troll the trolls, poking fun at herself in the process. The mogul stepped off the plane at LAX in a T-shirt yesterday that's devilishly cheeky, and all the way Posh."Fashion Stole My Smile" reads the tee that Beckham wore as she strutted through a sea of photographers en route to her next engagement (or, if we had our way, to film another 73 Questions). One could say the designer is peaking right now, thanks to her successful fashion label, her OBE, and a massive, size-inclusive collaboration with Target that hits stores next month. In addition to being cute as hell, Beckham's graphic tee is pretty affordable considering the price range of her eponymous label. The Victoria Victoria Beckham top comes in black and white, and is around $150. Paired with a blazer or a wide-leg set of pleated trousers, we could see ourselves in the look, too. Though, we've been known to crack a smile more often than Beckham, of course. If you're wondering where the bit came from, well, look no further than the aforementioned Vogue spot where she revealed in 2015 why she never breaks her runway-ready Posh mood. In the video, when asked why she doesn't smile, Beckham explained: "I'm smiling on the inside. I feel that I have a responsibility to the fashion community." What she means by that is kind of unclear, but we're going to guess that it's a reference to the reputation models have earned from their expressions on the catwalk (or, at least, since the days of the jubilant supers) — always serious. But we all know Beckham is one to crack a joke. Hell, we'd consider the designer quite the comedian at times. But if you haven't had the chance to catch any of her jokes, or that time she treated a day at the DMV like a full-blown photoshoot, we highly suggest watching Being Victoria Beckham, a 2002 documentary on her and her husband David's meet-cute and respective careers. Well-played, Becks.Like what you see?
