Carolyn Fratto, Brian McLeod


Carolyn Marie Fratto and Brian Lee McLeod were married March 5 at Playa Largo Resort in Key Largo, Fla. Daniel O. McLeod, a notary in Florida and a brother of the groom, officiated.

Mrs. McLeod, 36, is a pediatric and psychiatric nurse practitioner at a Bronx location of Sheltering Arms Children and Family Services, a social services agency based in Manhattan; she works with children in foster care and adolescents in the juvenile justice system. She graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., and received a master’s degree in nursing from Yale and a nurse practitioner’s certificate in psychiatric mental health from Hunter College.

She is a daughter of Joseph C. Fratto of Salt Lake City and the late Peggy Lunt Fratto. The bride’s father retired as a judge for the Utah Third Judicial District in Salt Lake County. Until February he was a trustee of the Catholic Community Services of Utah in Salt Lake City. Her mother was a coordinator of special education in the Granite School District in Salt Lake Valley.

Mr. McLeod, 39, is a senior manager of finance analysis at Healthfirst, a health insurance nonprofit in Manhattan. He graduated from the University of Florida, from which he also received an M.B.A.

He is a son of Karen L. McLeod and Keith W. McLeod of Orlando, Fla. The groom’s mother works there as a customer service agent for Delta Air Lines. His father is the owner of All Builders Glass and Supply, also in Orlando.

The groom’s previous marriage ended in divorce.

The couple met in January 2016 on the dating app Bumble.
