Pamela Jean McMurray and Sherry Lynn Christian were married Feb. 10 at the Hausmann Nature Center in Delafield, Wis. Anna Hirt, a Universal Life minister and friend of the couple, officiated.
Dr. McMurray (left), 54, is a clinical neuropsychologist in private practice in Waukesha, Wis. She is a former member of the Air Force, having enlisted in 1981, and later serving as a cryptographic maintenance technician from 1982-1988, the year she was honorably discharged from active duty with the rank of sergeant. She was a member of the Missouri Air National Guard at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis from 1988-1990. She graduated with honors from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, and received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Washington University in St. Louis. She also completed a post doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at Baylor.
She is the daughter of Donna C. McMurray and Robert H. McMurray of Ocala, Fla. Her mother retired as the secretary for the Department of Defense at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Ill. Her father retired as a meat cutter at Oscar Mayer in Davenport, Iowa.
Ms. Christian, 53 is a Milwaukee-based health and safety manager for the Northern Plains District of the United Parcel Service. She graduated from Ohio State and received an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the executive board, and committee chair member of the Salvation Army in Milwaukee. She is a daughter of Delores A. Christian and Donnie R. Christian of Columbus, Ohio.
Her father retired as a police officer for the city of Columbus.
The couple met in July 2008 through Match.com.
