The new 2019 Ford Figo has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 5.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Figo has been launched in the country in a total of seven variants which are spread across three engine options. The new Figo has been launched in three trim levels namely Ambiente, Titanium and Titanium Blu. Speaking of changes, the new model differs from the previous model slightly in terms of appearance. The front and rear bumpers of the new Figo have been revised in order to give a fresher look. The car gets a new honeycomb grille up front and the headlamps have also been tweaked a little. The top-of-the-line Titanium Blu variant comes with blacked out roof, grille and the outside rear view mirrors for a sportier look. The said variant also sports different design alloy wheels.
Now, with the latest updates, the cabin of the new 2019 Ford Figo facelift is in line with that of the new Aspire and Freestyle. The top end Titanium Blu variant comes with some added features in the form of keyless entry, push start stop button, automatic headlamps, auto wipers, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a reverse parking camera. The infotainment system does not come with SYNC3 which means Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity have been given a miss.
When it comes to safety, all variants of the new 2019 Ford Figo facelift get ABS with EBD, dual airbags, parking sensors, seatbelt reminder and speed alert system to match up with the upcoming safety norms. The top end Titanium Blu model gets a total of six airbags for added safety. The 2019 Ford Figo facelift gets power from three engine options. The 1.2-litre petrol engine is good for producing respective power and torque outputs of 96 bhp and 120 Nm and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. There is also a 1.5-litre petrol engine on offer with 123 bhp, 150 Nm on tap, mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. Last, the 1.5-litre diesel engine sheds out respective power and torque of 100 bhp and 215 Nm and comes with a five-speed manual gearbox.
