THESE ARE THE BEST DEALS:
Listen, gamers, we know it’s hard to go an entire week without picking up something new to play with, but we highly recommend it — GameStop‘s Black Friday sale is shaping up to be a good one. Your patience will be rewarded, we promise.
The world’s biggest physical retailer of games, gaming accessories, and pre-owned versions of the two, dropped their Black Friday ad on Nov. 22. It features big discounts on games, sure, but what we didn’t expect was for them to offer a deal on the recently released Nintendo Switch Lite (and a pretty sweet PlayStation 4 Pro deal, too). GameStop is pulling out the big guns.
The 12-page ad is dense with savings, but we sifted through and found the best ones that you should definitely be prepared for. Check them out below.
This one was a total shocker to us, but the Nintendo Switch Lite is being offered along with a $25 coupon for Black Friday. It’ll be important to note, though, that this deal can only be used on Saturday and Sunday. A whole $100 cheaper than the original Switch, the Nintendo Switch Lite is lighter, more compact, and has a longer battery life (just keep in mind that it’s handheld only — no docked or tabletop modes).
If you’d rather invest in the regular Switch model, which can be docked to your TV and played with the detachable Joy-Con remotes, you can also get that $25 coupon when you pick up the Mario Kart 8 bundle. Challenge your buddies to a race, while you’re at it.
The PlayStation 4 Pro is about as good as it gets when it comes to PlayStation consoles — it’s more powerful than ever, and this glacier white model will be $100 off during GameStop’s Black Friday sale (you’ll get that $25 coupon, too).
It’s not listed just yet, but GameStop will be offering a 1TB PS4 bundle for $100 off with three amazing games — God of War, The Last of Us Remastered, and Horizon Zero Dawn will all be thrown in.
If you’re looking to get an Xbox One, Black Friday will be the time to do it. GameStop will have multiple discount bundles up for grabs, including $100 off the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order bundle, and $150 off the NBA 2K20 bundle.
Another $100 off, and another $25 coupon. All PSVR bundles will be included in this offer, so choose your games wisely!
If you don’t mind getting a pre-owned game, all PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and 3DS games will be “buy two, get one free.” That’s some huge savings potential, and GameStop’s used games are usually in great shape.
All PlayStation Hits titles are going to be only $10, so start filling that shopping cart asap. God of War, The Last of Us Remastered, Bloodborne, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and many more will be listed for the discount.
If you need another controller for when your friends come over to play (or if your old one broke), PlayStation DualShock 4 and Xbox One controllers will be on sale — save up to $26.
This is a big one, as these are pretty hard to find on sale (especially for $300 off). This HTC Vive Pro starter kit (which hasn’t been officially listed yet) comes with the HTC Vive Pro VR headset, two Steam VR base stations, and two Vive controllers.
Bring your games online and chat with friends with this comfy Turtle Beach headset. It’ll be $20 off, and features high-quality virtual surround sound.
And finally, Funko Pops. All figures priced at the $11.99 tier will be “buy two, get one free.” We’re going to build out the entire Avengers team, how about you?
