Braking on the Yamaha MT-15 is done with the help of disc brakes at the front and rear and a single-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) comes as standard for added safety. The India-spec model sees cost-cutting measures in order to keep the pricing in check. For example, the inverted forks at the front have been replaced with the conventional telescopic forks.
